Tender opportunity: Management & Leadership Development Expert
11 September 2024
Background to the Brief
Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums is seeking to appoint a training provider to work with us to:
- Undertake a learning and development needs assessment of our managers
- Help us develop our future approach and plans for management and leadership development
- Support delivery of phase one of a management and leadership development programme.
Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums is a publicly-funded, not-for-profit organisation seeking a cost-effective solution.
Objectives
The objective of the work is to further enhance the organisation’s management and leadership skills to support us in achieving our strategic objectives.
Key deliverables of the activity must include:
- Provision of tools and resources to identify the learning and development needs of our managers. You will support the facilitation of this assessment process and provide a detailed report of our managers’ needs, priorities, and recommendations for addressing these.
- Design and delivery of ‘phase one’ of a management and leadership programme. The needs analysis will help to fully inform this, however we know we want this to include specific activity in a number of areas. These are:
- Enhanced communication and interpersonal skills, particularly those required to effectively support and develop staff through coaching.
- Activity to encourage greater collaboration between our different teams to encourage us to work more effectively as a single organisation.
Additional information important for the work is outlined in our information pack which can be requested by interested parties.
