About

Did you know that creativity is crucial in unravelling the mysteries of the past?

This year's Festival of British Archaeology is all about Archaeology and Creativity, so grab your sense of wonder and join us as we unveil how we've tapped into our imaginative powers to bring our collections to life.

Get up close and personal with genuine artefacts, craft your very own Stone Age-inspired pinch pot and witness a dazzling fusion of light and colour as our experts guide you through a visual encounter with our Roman altars.

Throughout the museum, you'll find an epic treasure trove of activities that'll let your creativity run wild. Join us as we embark on a journey through time, unlocking the secrets of the past in the most creative ways imaginable!
