About
Join us to be part of Together We Fly!, a world friendship art project giving young people a voice. This is a chance to pause, reflect, and create something meaningful, on your own or with friends.
Write a message of friendship in your chosen language, inspired by your culture, experiences, or the people who matter to you. Then fold your message into a paper butterfly as a symbol of connection and care.
You’re welcome to take your butterfly home. If you choose to leave one behind, it will join hundreds of others to form an art installation at Newcastle Civic Centre which will be on display from April 2026 - sharing messages of friendship from the North East with the wider world.
