About
Woodhorn is a special place for many people for many reasons. Did you or a family member work at Woodhorn Colliery? Do you have a favourite Ashington Group painting? Do you party at the Miners' Picnic every year? Have you taken part in exhibitions, events or volunteering?
In Mining for Memories you can create your own black diamond to hold your special memories of Woodhorn. These paper gems will be added to stunning display that will continue to grow as more memories are collected.
Mining for Memories is suitable for all ages and abilities, and a staff member will be on hand to help, so come along to relax, reflect and get creative over the half term holidays.
