About

We’re planting something special at Woodhorn Museum this autumn.

Together with our amazing volunteers and community, we’ll be creating the Heart of Woodhorn - thousands of daffodils planted in the shape of a giant heart on our grounds.

Our Woodhorn Weeders will begin the process, then on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 October we’re inviting everyone to help us complete it!

Afterwards come and decorate a ceramic heart and take home your own daffodil bulb to plant and grow.

This event is part of Northumberland County Council's Animating Ashington Autumn/Winter Festival - a programme of cultural events across the town being funded by UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and North East Combined Authority, with the North East Combined Authority as lead authority.
