Each week we read a story together, then run a short, hands-on activity.

About
Our popular Early Years Storytime Group gives families and carers with pre-school children the opportunity to meet regularly throughout the year.
Join us every Friday (during term time) to read a story together, and take part in a hands-on activity.
There are extra books and toys available for you to stay and play on the Upper Ground Floor of the Cutter building and the Winding House Café after the session.
Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages to find out which book we'll be reading each week.
Accessible Storytimes
For our Storytime sessions, we will be using tactile book edition. These picture books include braille pages and raised tactile images, allowing children with visual impairments to follow the stories more easily. As always, our storyteller will read aloud, describe the illustrations, and we can adapt the accompanying craft activities to suit individual needs.
These sessions are open to all families, and children and adults with sight loss are also warmly encouraged to attend our regular Storytime sessions. Our storyteller always reads aloud, describes the illustrations, and we’re happy to adapt activities as needed.
