What to expect at Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum

I am going to visit Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum.
It is a very old building and I will be able to look at some different types of musical instruments called pipes.
It is a safe place to relax and explore and have fun with my family and friends.
I can see everything in one visit but I don't have to if I don't want to.
Arriving at Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum

When I arrive I can go in the automatic door in the courtyard.

I can also use the door on the main street.
The gift shop and information centre

Downstairs there is an arts and crafts shop, and a tourist information centre.

The staff who work there can answer any questions I might have.
Going upstairs to the museum

To get to the museum I can go up the stairs.
I can also use the lift.

If I use the lift, I can press the green button to make the lift move.
I need to hold my finger down or the lift will stop.
Looking around the museum

I can look around the museum and see the bagpipes.
I can read the information boards if I want to.

Upstairs in the museum there are no staff.
I will have to ask in the shop downstairs if I need any help.

There is a mini museum with toys and bells to play with.

I will need to be careful near the spiral staircase.
I can't go down these stairs.
Accessible toilet

There is an accessible toilet upstairs.
If it is locked, I will need to ask the staff downstairs in the shop for the key.
