This festive season, the Great North Museum: Hancock invites you to a roaring good time at The Great Dinosaur Christmas Show. Meet dinosaurs and enjoy interactive performances. Perfect for families and dino-lovers of all ages, this magical event blends science, storytelling, and seasonal sparkle. Don’t miss the chance to make Jurassic memories this Christmas!
Important notes
Arrival: Please arrive at the main museum entrance, where the welcome desk can direct you.
Location: The event will take place in the Clore Suite, located on the ground floor at the rear of the museum. Please enter through the main entrance and walk through the main galleries. Look out for the Butterfly Wall corridor, and then turn right. If you require any assistance, please speak to the staff at the welcome desk.
Age suitability: Designed for families, particularly with kids aged 4-10 years.
Can I still attend the show if I am late?:
Please allow extra time for your journey, as traffic is often heavier on weekends and during busy periods. Late entry is only permitted up to two minutes after the show is scheduled to start. If you arrive more than two minutes late for your timeslot, admission will depend on availability for a later show, but entry cannot be guaranteed.
