5pm, Friday 30 October - 10am, Saturday 31 October.

Price

£85 (+ booking fee) per person. Booking essential. 

Suitable for adults and children aged 6-12. 

For safeguarding every two children must be accompanied by at least one adult for the whole event. Everyone attending the event needs to book a separate ticket, all tickets are £85 (+ booking fee) per person.

Groups will be allocated a sleeping space on arrival at the museum so if you are planning to visit as a group please book under one name for all people in your party.

About

A unique opportunity to spend a night in your favourite museum.  

The evening will be full of exciting activities including creepy crafts, a terrifying trail, spooky story time, phantom forest school, dungeon disco and a delicious hot buffet beastly feast for teatime. 

Then it's time for stories and bedtime amongst the museum objects, dream of ancient worlds, deep sea adventures with a narwhal or swinging through the rainforest with a family of orangutangs.

After a night of museum slumber wake up to a relaxing morning planetarium show and a tasty hot breakfast buffet, juice and lots of coffee for the adults!

Depart from the museum by 10am.

What is included:

What you will need to bring:

  • Sleeping mat (not an airbed)
  • Sleeping bag
  • A pillow
  • A torch
  • Toiletries
  • Additional water.

Teatime buffet menu:

  • Margherita pizza
  • Vegan Margherita pizza
  • Gluten Free Margherita pizza
  • Pepperoni pizza
  • Potato wedges with ketchup/mayonnaise
  • Vegetable sticks
  • Orange Juice
  • Water.

Breakfast buffet menu:

  • Sausage Sandwiches (Gluten Free bread available on request)
  • Bacon sandwiches (Gluten Free bread available on request)
  • Fruit
  • Pastries
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Orange juice
  • Water.

Running order:

  • 5pm: arrival at the museum, find sleeping spots and set up camp
  • 5.30pm: activities start in designated activity spaces until 9pm
  • 6pm - 7pm: tea served in Hall 2
  • 10pm: Storytime
  • 10.30pm - 11pm: getting ready for bed
  • 11pm: Lights out
  • 6.30pm: wake up and start packing up, Planetarium shows will run every half hour from 6.30am until 8.30am
  • 7am: Breakfast buffet until 8am
  • 9.30am: Packed up ready to leave
  • 10am: Depart the museum.
