D6: Culture in Transit presents CONTESTED DESIRES: an exhibition of work by international and local artists who reveal the untold stories of colonialism. From Africa, Europe and South America, they bring the international project to the North East of England, inviting us to consider new perspectives on the legacies of Europe’s colonial past.
