Need to know

The event will be held at the Clore Learning Suite.

All are welcome to attend as a family.

Please note that there is no public parking on site and there are limited blue badge spaces which are available on the day on a first come first served basis. If you have a blue badge and the spaces are full then we will endeavour to find an alternative parking spot on site.

About

We are delighted to share this lovely opportunity to create your own clay artwork inspired by the Great North Museum: Hancock's clay artefacts and to speak to an expert about ancient Greek and Egyptian clay artefacts.

Rebuild Hadrian's Wall activities allow families to enjoy creating clay artworks together and take it away with them on the day.

Come and join us at Let’s Party. Trust me, you will leave full of knowledge and laughter!

If you want to delve deeper into the world of clay, Handy Helpers is for you, offering the chance to ask our curator questions about some clay artefacts.

All materials will be provided, so don't hesitate to join us!

This event was created by three students on the Museum Studies and Curating Art course at Newcastle University.
