About
Can You Dig It? is an art exhibition in the Hadrian's Wall Gallery, created as part of the Treasure exhibition. The Great North Museum: Hancock invited four schools and a group of home educated people to take part in the Treasure programme. Each group worked alongside a local artist to produce artworks responding to the idea of treasure within the context of archaeology, bringing unique perspectives to the project.
These vibrant and expressive artworks explore what treasure can mean through the lens of imagination and self-expression. Visitors are invited to reflect on the significance and impact of treasure both within the exhibition and across these installations.
