Learning - British Science Week 2026

What's on for British Science Week 2026?

Celebrate British Science Week 2026 with a range of inspiring activities at the museum!

SEND schools/groups | Mon 2 March | SEND Schools and Groups Day
Enjoy a bespoke day tailored to the needs of SEND schools and groups, with a relaxed environment and flexible activity options. Activities include object handling sessions, a relaxed planetarium experience, and breakout spaces. Open to all ages, workshops are aimed at working-at-KS1/2 to KS3/4, so that element is likely to best suit primary, secondary and college aged groups.

Schools - Y6-11 |Mon 9 March | Adaptation & Evolution day

Schools - Y3-11 |Tue 10 March | Animals & Zoology day

Schools - Y3-7| Wed 11 March | Psychology day

Home educators | Thu 12 March or Fri 13 March various times | Science Adventures
Get involved in psychology research. Booking opens January 2026.

Please note, SEND classes are welcome on any date that suits the level and needs of the class, and we will make any adaptations we can to make this accessible to your group (please tell us what you need when you book). The SEND specific day will have a wider range of adaptations available than on a typical term-time date, so may be suitable for classes/groups who haven't been able to visit before.
