To celebrate Heritage Open Days 2025, Morpeth Bagpipe Museum invites you to enjoy a day of poetry, music and history in the heart of Morpeth.
Programme:

Morpeth Poets present “Building Bridges”
11am – 12pm
Step back in time with the Morpeth Poets as they bring local history to life through words and performance. In costume and in character, they’ll share stories of Morpeth’s past, its people and its landmarks. -
Northumbrian Pipers’ Society Gathering
2pm – 4.30pm
Experience the distinctive sound of Northumberland’s own musical instrument. Members of the Northumbrian Pipers’ Society will be playing traditional tunes throughout the afternoon – drop in, listen and enjoy.
