This workshop is delivered jointly by Newcastle University Library and the Great North Museum: Hancock.
Students will have the opportunity to engage with original primary and secondary source material related to their studies at Newcastle University’s Special Collections and Archives and the Great North Museum: Hancock. Covering the four key time periods studied in the history of medicine at GCSE, from medieval and Renaissance to industrial and modern medicine, these workshops can be tailored to your chosen exam board. At the Great North Museum: Hancock this will be extended earlier to consider Roman Britain, Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt, with a later focus on Mummification.
You could also use this website to further enhance your studies back in school.
