About
An evening of calm, cosy activities at the museum to get you away from the Christmas rush but to boost the festive feelings.
Music performances include:
- Choir performances with some traditional winter songs
- Simon Wood on the Hang drums encouraging you to slow down and take a moment to breath
- The incredible sights and sounds of a Gamelan ensemble performed by musicians from Newcastle University.
Activities include:
- Making festive cosmetics with our lovely friends at Lush (additional charges apply)
- Stock up on stocking fillers from Lush and our museum shop
- Festive stories by candlelight with the magnificent Moss Troopers
- Relaxing Christmas crafts to make for yourself or to give as a gift, such as:
- Textile tree decorations with Artist Louise Underwood
- Festive pop up cards inspired by beautifully bizarre Victorian card designs
- Recycled paper wreaths to hang at home indoors.
Festive treats:
- A selection of festive drinks and snacks from the museum bar
- Refreshing beers from Stubrew.
