Can I book in person or over the phone?

Tickets need to be booked online. You can book your tickets online here. All tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.

Is there a car park on site?

There is no public car parking on site. If travelling by car, the nearest NCP car parks are John Dobson Street (NE1 8HL), New Bridge Street (NE1 8AB), Carliol Square (NE1 6UL).

We would recommend travelling by public transport. The Great North Museum: Hancock is a five-minute walk from Haymarket Metro station and Haymarket bus interchange. The Museum is well signposted from Haymarket.

Up to three children aged 11 and under can travel for free on the Metro and the Shields Ferry when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.

Lockers and buggy parking

Lockers are available at the front of the museum for £1 non-returnable.

We have a designated buggy park at the front of the museum.

Where does the show take place?

The show will take place within the Clore Suite, located on the ground floor at the rear of the Museum. Please enter through the main entrance and walk through the main galleries. Look out for the Butterfly Wall corridor and then turn right. If you require any assistance, please speak to the staff at the welcome desk.

Please present your tickets at the Clore Suite on entering the event. All of the people for your booking should assemble together so that you can be admitted into the venue as one party.

If ticket holders arrive 10+ minutes after the show has started, they will not be permitted into the show to ensure that the show is not disturbed for other visitors.
