Research services
Paid research service
If you are not able to visit our search room, or wish staff to look at records on your behalf, we can look through the records for you via our paid research service. The service costs £40 per hour.
We suggest that you purchase an initial one hour of research, and you can always purchase another hour later if required.
Our target response time for paid research enquiries is six weeks.
The research fee does not include copies of original records found, and we will include a quotation for copies in our research report. However, where appropriate, we will transcribe the exact text of a record, or provide an image of a relevant section of the record.
