Our usual opening hours are 

  • Tuesday - 10am - 4pm
  • Wednesday 10am - 4pm
  • Thursday 10am – 4pm

Tyne & Wear Archives is always closed on Bank Holidays. 

Please bear with us, as Blandford House, home to Discovery Museum and Tyne & Wear Archives, is undergoing specialist roof restoration and the building is eclipsed by scaffolding. 

Tyne & Wear Archives is operating as usual.
