Collections of Jewish origin or which have a connection with the region’s Jewish heritage continue to be developed in both the City Library and in Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums.

Your story over 30 interviews have been conducted with people from the region who have a Jewish heritage, each recounting their lifetime experiences. Each interview has been transcribed and in time will be available for research in Tyne & Wear Archives.

Heritage at Risk a photographic survey was made of the United Hebrew Synagogue in Gosforth, Newcastle prior to its eventual demolition in 2023.
