About

Try this relaxing and calming artform, where small resin diamonds are arranged on an adhesive surface to decorate it. Placing the tiny resin diamonds one-by-one, using a pen with a glue nib is extremely soothing, and allows many people to enter a meditative state. In this class you'll decorate a coaster to take home. Diamond art is not to be rushed, as the relaxing pace is part of its charm - but if you finish the coaster during the session, you can also make a keyring.

Once you discover the relaxing qualities of diamond art, you won't want to stop!

For this workshop you will need to be able to grasp a pen and make repetitive arm and hand movements.

This class is run by wellbeing practitioner Jan Ashburner, who is passionate about combining calmness with creativity. This autumn, around World Mental Health Day, we invite you to explore wellbeing through creativity in a range of workshops run by Jan. Take a look at our workshops.
