Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne art trail
We're taking part in an exciting, free public art trail that will add colour to the streets, parks and public spaces of Newcastle and its surrounding areas – and you’re invited to join the fun!
Look out for big Shaun the Sheep sculptures outside of:
- Great North Museum: Hancock
- Discovery Museum
- Hatton Gallery
- Laing Art Gallery

Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne is presented by and raising funds for St Oswald’s Hospice. The charity has partnered with creative producers Wild in Art, Shaun the Sheep creator Aardman and Headline Partners Newcastle City Council to bring you a ewe-nique art adventure that the whole family can enjoy.
Design your own Shaun the Sheep colouring zone
Visit the new pop-up 'Design your own Shaun the Sheep' colouring zone at the Great North Museum: Hancock and enter the competition for a chance to win a Veeva bean bag and treat box. One winner selected every fortnight. Competition ends 27 September 2023.
