About the event
We're delighted to welcome the People's Mission Silver Band to their first performance in our Tunes in June series. Based in Fort Street, South Shields, the band celebrated its 125th anniversary earlier this year and performs regularly at church services, fundraising concerts and outdoor events. Their repertoire includes popular marches, swing anthems and tunes from the musicals - plus much more!
Make a day of it - after visiting the museum, enjoy your own picnic on our lawn or in our picnic area whilst listening to some great live brass band music.
