About the activity

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT

Join artist Shaney Barton for a creative and interactive botanical workshop making Roman-inspired garland crowns. Ancient Romans used garlands for all sorts of everyday and special occasions, adorning themselves with plants, trees and flowers thought to bring good luck, health, beauty and prosperity.

Find out about some of the natural qualities of these botanical wonders while creating your own beautiful head garland with powerful Oak, protective Willow, and other seasonal and dried flowers and foliage.
