Lion will be hauling a variety of passenger and freight trains across all three days of the event and will have a starring role in the NTSRA's Photography Evening on Friday 5 June.
The event will be complemented by a display of 30+ classic cars from NECPWA on Saturday and Sunday, talks in the John Storey Room, displays inside the museum and a Sausage Supper Train on Saturday evening.
Visitor Information
We regret that currently we are unable to offer wheelchair access to our carriages as the door openings are restricted to 55cm. Wheelchair users must be able to self-transfer onto the passenger carriages to ride on our heritage trains. As a heritage railway, we are exempt from certain aspects of the Equality Act.
