Enjoy a guided tour of the entire Stephenson Steam Railway site, exploring the museum, workshops, and the scenic Woodland Walk. Discover the hidden history of the railway as one of our knowledgeable volunteers reveals stories behind the site's industrial past.

Along the way, you'll see a variety of historic artefacts, the remains of the former Metro Test Centre, and relics from the British Rail era. This unique behind-the-scenes experience offers an engaging insight into the railway's rich heritage and the people who helped shape it.
