Lots to get egg-cited about this Easter at Stephenson
The Museum re-opens for the new season on Saturday 4 April with a fresh new look. Come and enjoy new displays and interpretation detailing the story of the development of the railways from our region, highlighting the significant time spent here by railway pioneers George Stephenson and his son Robert.

Take a heritage train ride - all tickets half price!
Wednesday 8 & Thursday 9 April
Heritage train rides available on both days with Make and Take crafts on Thursday.
Good Friday Special, 10 April
Traditional Fish 'n' Chips from Codrophenia and heritage train rides.
In the Museum: Easter crafts, trail, face painting and For Paws will be bringing a selection of springtime animals.
On board the train: Easter Hat competition; entertainment including a storyteller, magician, balloon twisting; visits from the Easter Bunny.
