Visitor Information

Join us from 9.30 - 10am for a 30-minute session, where visitors can enjoy a  slow movement activity right in front of the artwork, in a relaxed and reflective atmosphere. This session is free, booking is required. 

Please arrive 5 minutes before the session begins. This session has a maximum capacity of 10 participants.   

About

Visitors are invited to enjoy free Wellness Weekends at South Shields Museum & Art Gallery, designed to encourage mindfulness and relaxation through art, to celebrate the arrival of Monet’s The Petit Bras of the Seine at Argenteuil (1872), as part of the National Gallery’s Masterpiece Tour.

In this session, visitors can take part in a 30-minute movement session, held in front of Monet’s iconic artwork - creating a calming and immersive start to the morning that blends movement with mindfulness.
