Two children in a Roman museum gallery wearing replica card cavalry masks

Dates

25 August 2025 (historic event)

About the activity

The Cavalry soldiers often wore helmets with a face plate over their own face. Have a go at decorating and creating your own cavalry mask, like those that would have been used at Hadrian's Wall.
