About

Watch in wonder as spectacular fireworks light up the night sky over the River Tyne where Swan Hunter used to launch its ships.

Entry to the museum is free after 5pm so do explore the museum exhibits before choosing the best spot to watch the display at 6.30pm.

This year’s event will feature dazzling street entertainment, including a fire performer, glowing LED Hula Hoop fun, and magical Living Lampposts to light up the night from 5–6:30pm.

There'll be a coffee van on-site and the Museum shop will also be selling refreshments.

We're sorry, but dogs won't be permitted on site during the event, and visitors arriving with dogs will be refused entry.
