Come along with your little ones and takeover Discovery Museum!
Join us with your little ones to take over the galleries on the first floor of Discovery Museum.
There will be a series of simple play activities on offer, encouraging toddlers to explore the museum in new and fun ways.
For British Science Week 2025 and to support our exhibition - Steam to Green: A North East Energy Revolution - all activities will be Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts or Mathematics (STEAM) themed!
Activities include:
- building and constructing,
- dressing up,
- colouring,
- sorting,
- counting,
- handling exciting objects and much more!
We would recommend spending one hour exploring the different activities at your own pace. You can take part in as many, or as few, activities as you like and in any order you prefer.
