Power the Future: Wind Workshop

This event will take place in Play and Invent on the 2nd Floor of the museum.

Why not visit the Steam to Green gallery, on the ground floor afterwards to test your turbine. 

With your family or your group build a wind turbine blade and see how well it generates electricity.  

Challenge other familes to see who is the most successful.

You can also make a pinwheel to spin in the simulation wind tunnel in our Steam to Green gallery.

This event is part of our Ways to Play programme of free and low-cost family-friendly activities.
