Workshop information
This workshop is ideal for nursery and reception children. It is designed to introduce the museum to our youngest visitors.
This workshop will help your class to find out about the people who work in the museum and the special objects you can see on display when exploring.
The workshop includes mystery object handling, gallery exploration activities and a carousel of three simple challenges linked to different museum jobs.
These challenges include putting broken object jigsaws back together, sorting curious objects into 'old and new' and 'wood and metal' and creating a mini Discovery museum to take away with you.
