About

Led by artist Pui Lee, you'll create your own colourful relief artwork inspired by the gallery's collections.

Be inspired by the colours, motifs and textures in the artworks on display, and create your own unique piece to take home. You'll use card, paper and mixed media materials to create an artwork combining 2-D and 3-D elements.

This is an opportunity to work with a professional artist, and explore bold colours, repeating patterns, varied textures and geometric motifs. You'll combine flat artwork with sculptural elements, to create your own unique piece.

This is a workshop for children aged 7 - 12 with their grown ups. Each child-and-adult pair will work together to create a finished piece to take home. Adults may bring more than one child. You will take home one finished artwork per child.

This event is part of our Ways to Play programme of free and low-cost family-friendly activities.
