About

Join MotherFolk for a weekly mother and baby writing circle to support the transition into early motherhood.

The writing circle is a small, baby-friendly yet mother-focused space. We use gentle writing prompts to process our motherhood experiences and build community.

You don't need to feel like a writer to participate. Writing is simply a gentle tool we use to release, reconnect with ourselves, and reclaim our motherhood stories.

Sign up for the term and enjoy one guided hour a week with the same intimate group of mothers and babies. This group is open to anyone who self-identifies with mothering or motherhood. All stories, experiences, and identities are welcome.

The group meets in the Sensory Space - a cosy and calm lounge, where babies can relax and play whilst you write. Here you'll find foam flooring with cosy blankets; sensory lights; dens; comfy seating; and inviting textures, mirrors and toys.

While you're here, you can also visit the galleries and enjoy the collections of Fine Art, ceramics, craft and design.

Useful to know: the gallery has step-free access and baby changing facilities. Free on-street parking is available. Breastfeeding welcome.
