About

Join watercolour artist Nici Christina (Skyeblomma) for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to the beautiful and expressive world of watercolour painting.

In this four-hour masterclass, Nici will gently guide you through the fundamentals of working with watercolour, making this workshop ideal for complete beginners. You’ll be introduced to essential techniques such as brush control, colour mixing, layering, and learning how water and pigment interact on the page.

The session will begin with guided demonstrations and technique tutorials, followed by supported, practical painting time. There will be time to experiment freely and build confidence without pressure. This approachable, exploratory format encourages creativity and play, helping you develop a solid foundation of skills you can continue using long after the workshop ends.

You’ll leave with your own collection of mini paintings to take home, along with a clearer understanding of watercolour basics and renewed creative confidence.

Suitable for ages 16+. All materials provided.

Class runs 10.45am - 3.15pm (4 hours painting with 30 minute break).

This is part of a series of watercolour workshops.
