About

Learn to make a hand embroidered fabric vessel, with artist Louise Goult.

This relaxed and inspiring workshop will show you how to take those precious snippets of fabrics out of the drawer where they can't be seen, and meaningfully use them to create your own unique fabric vessels.

Combining fabric with hand stitch you'll create vessels that can be used as a beautiful, unique ornament or a have a more practical use such as a thread holder or organiser for your home. Your vessel will be made from a combination of pre-loved fabrics and those that are too small for other projects, making this a more sustainable approach to textiles.

Selecting threads from a wide range of choices, you'll add details with calming hand embroidery, turning fabrics into a 3 dimensional artwork.

Suitable for age 16+. For beginners and those with some embroidery experience.
