About
Discover the fun of watercolour painting in this gentle, hands-on workshop with artist Nici Christina (Skyeblomma). Create a beautiful artwork for springtime.
Working in a loose, expressive style, you’ll explore how water, pigment and movement come together to create an uplifting springtime painting. You'll learn some fun painting techniques such as washes and salt effects, to create your background. Create and cut out collage elements and stick them on to create your own unique artwork. You'll create a springtime themed artwork featuring meadow flowers and butterflies.
Nici will guide you step-by-step with a short demonstration before you dive into painting with guidance and encouragement along the way.
This class is about slowing down, enjoying the process, and letting your brush lead - perfect for beginners and everyone wanting to reconnect with the joy of painting.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with your own springtime artwork and the confidence to keep painting.
This workshop is for children aged 7 - 12 with their grown ups.
