Drawn Together: Creativity for All

This event is all about coming together to draw and be creative, in fun and surprising ways! 

Drop into the gallery to get creative with artist educators. Try different artist-led activities at your own pace, trying different art materials and techniques. 

Activities on the day include:

• Turn yourself into a painting by dressing up and posing inside a frame
• Create patterned artworks using different drawing materials
• Have a go at 'drawing with thread' using fabric 
• Draw in 3-D, using art straws to create linear sculptures
• Challenge yourself to draw blindfolded - results guaranteed to make you laugh! 
• Draw on giant paper on the floor, to make an artwork together.

The event is run by North East Art Teacher Network (NEATEN) - a regional network of artist educators, and Dryad Education will be supplying art materials to use on the day. We would like to thank NEATEN and Dryad Education for their support.
