Why become a member?
The membership allows your school and your teachers to benefit from a variety of our practical art workshops and creative learning programmes across the academic year.
Save 10% on all workshop bookings with a Silver Arts membership, or 15% on all workshop bookings with our Gold Arts membership. There are other fantastic benefits and savings to be made when becoming a membership school...
Silver Arts membership entitles schools to:
- 6 practical art workshops at the Laing or Shipley for KS1&2 including SEND (usually £130 each). Choose from our current offer here: https://laingartgallery.org.uk... or https://shipleyartgallery.org....
- A teacher training session for all staff on using our collections to inspire curriculum areas.
- A whole school assembly on the theme of the Laing & Shipley collections
- Booking priority for our exclusive teacher exhibition previews and CPD events
- Free entry into our charging shows for planning (2 tickets per school per exhibition)
- A 10% discount on booking all additional workshops or in-school art workshops.
Silver Arts membership fee £695
Gold Arts Membership entitles schools to:
- 12 practical art workshops at the Laing or Shipley for KS1&2 including SEND (usually £130 each). Choose from our current offer here: https://laingartgallery.org.uk... or https://shipleyartgallery.org....
- 2-part teacher training session for all staff; part one focusing on using our collections to inspire curriculum areas, and part two focusing on a particular media of your choice from our CPD Package.
- A whole school assembly on the theme of the Laing & Shipley collections
- Booking priority for our exclusive teacher exhibition previews and CPD events
- Advanced notice and priority booking onto upcoming school projects
- Free entry into our charging shows for planning (2 tickets per school per exhibition)
- A 15% discount on booking all additional workshops or in-school art workshops.
- A 10% discount on booking our CPD Package (usually £900 for the package)
Gold Arts membership fee £1400
