Discover Festival is Newcastle University's free, one-day festival of interactive family-fun in the heart of the North East. Immerse yourself into a world of wonder and exploration with activities and events to inspire all ages. 

Join us at Hatton Gallery for drop-in art workshops where you can try stamp and block printing, watercolour, and ink art. You can also get inky with 'Back to school, c1760: Printing and calligraphy'  Try out printing, copperplate writing, and discover how books were made 300 years ago.
